Baby explosion

This last week has been full of babies. Last Friday, Ronnie and I got a call at 6 in the morning from my brother saying that him and his wife were heading to the hospital to have their baby. We were the lucky ones who got to watch their 2-year-old daughter for the day. We had so much fun getting her dressed, feeding her and keeping her entertained. She didn't seem to mind waking up to her favorite aunt and uncle and was seriously the perfect child all day! Anyway, back to the baby. Little Everett Jacob Schmidt was born late that afternoon. He is so handsome. Looks just like Jake!

The next morning, we were on a bike ride with my dad when he got a call from my sister Jasmine. She had been miserable all morning with severe upper stomach pains and was desperate for advice. Long story short, she was given an emergency c-section later that afternoon and immediately life-flighted to SLC with a diagnosis of severe HELLP syndrome. After many long hours/days of prayer, they were both released a week later and all is well. We are so happy they recovered so quickly. Looking forward to Fall break when we can drive down to Price and finally see the new babe in person!

And here we are, Sunday night, once again hanging out at the hospital. Its Ronnie sister's turn! We have been so excited for her and her 2 baby boys to come. They are going to be so studly. Amy has been such a rockstar throughout her entire pregnancy. I can't imagine carrying one baby, not to mention two!

All in all, we feel so blessed. We love our family and are so grateful for everyone having babies, so that we can get our fill until we are ready!
