The last four months in a nutshell

Although, we have had many of you threatening us to BLOG we are still alive. The last few months have been a roller coaster ride. Everything from broken winshield wipers to court appeals with Select Health. School is the same old same, Jocie has 3 more semesters of her Masters degree before she becomes my sugar mama, I have 3 more semesters of my associate's degree at the community college and then I'll head to the UofU for a bachelor's in Exercise Science and then into the Physical Therapy Graduate program. I have a bit of a long road ahead of me, but we are well on our way to stardom.

In April, Jocie and I both have birthdays within 5 days of each other. Being super tight on money and resources, she came up with the best idea! Suicide rock. We climbed to the top and let the world know of our DEEP and devoted love!!! Purple, blue and white spray paint glimmered all for 1 whole week on the top of that rock before we were shallowly painted over by some hooligans!!! Just wait till next year!

Also thanks to Jeff Schmidt, Jocie's dad, we now have no excuse not to run. He took us out to Wasatch Running Company and got us both some sweet new kicks! Now we have to be ready for the Ragnar, blehhh.... HARD! But we are loving it. Its been fun to run together and push ourselves to the limit. Thanks Jeff.

Last, but not least the update on our cars. Its been about 6 months since we last switched things up, plus gas is getting ridiculously expensive- so... after countless hours of mechanical ingenuity and blood, sweat and tears we finally got that bad boy trail-ready. We had lots of fun getting mud on the tires and playing around in the snow. Even after all that hard work and tons of fun, the jeep a.k.a "the marine" only got 11 mpg. Thus, we have upgraded to a small and more economical car. A fast and zippy mazda (zoom zooom). We love it, but are still on the hunt for a bigger and better jeep. I cannot live without one and Jocie, so far, is entertaining this idea... cross your fingers.
