Fall Break!

My first official fall break! I am glad some schools still believe in it. Ronnie and I both had a lot of studying to do, but we decided to take a break and join the family down in Monticello. Friday night we drove down with Brandon and Lindsey to Kory Peterson's cabin (Ronnie's brother in law). It was a blast! The whole Matheson crew was there- except Christie (we missed you!). The cabin was literally in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by miles and miles of beautiful, southern utah cliffs and landscapes.

 On Saturday, we spent the morning shooting happy pumpkin heads and other assorted targets. It was pretty fun, despite the fact that I usually just shot dirt.

We went on a sweet hike through the canyon. There are a lot of indian (anasazi??) ruins and artifacts in the area. We found a bunch of pottery pieces- no luck with the arrowheads, though.

Poor Ronnie! He had two tests to study for and wasn't able to go on the hike because of his knee. He studied hard though. Look how happy he is!

All in all, the trip was so fun! Thanks especially to Amy and Kory! And of course, the rest of the Mathesons. We love you all!
