This one's for you Rach

I am always encouraged when I realize that someone actually reads our blog. Also, I am pretty sure you would have done the same as Ronnie if you were around- So Rach, this one's for you!

This afternoon I was a good wife. I cleaned the house and did the laundry, which consisted of about 60 dirty rags from Ronnie's work. They had been sitting there in a bucket for the last week or two, so Ronnie volunteered to clean them and bring them back. They smelled funny, but I thought nothing of it as I reached in and pulled the wet rags and threw them in the dryer. Yet, as I leaned in to grab the last few rags my hand squeezed in against something unfamiliar.

    Slimy. 

       Squooshy.

             and COLD.

I screamed a loud, hysteric yelp and jumped about 2 feet in the air. When I came back to my senses, I returned to the machine and peered in. What I saw may disturb you.... a brain? a moldy onion? Sadly no- a hairless rat! I slammed the machine shut and ran to the bathroom where I proceeded to wash my hands 2-3-4 million times. Later this evening Ronnie came home from work and with his bare hands and BBQ tongs pulled the rank little critter out. My hero! Needless to say, I couldn't eat anything for  over an hour, because I felt so contaminated.

I am only posting pictures because I feel I need to validate my story. Some of you may not believe me otherwise.
